With the recent (Jan 6th) changes that the Google Adwords program has implemented, affiliate marketers have a little more work in front of them when working through Chris Carpenter's brilliant GoogleCash affiliate income strategy.

GoogleCashing is where you sign up for an affiliate program, write a compelling Google Adwords ad and send the people right to the affiliate program's web site (through your link, if you want to earn any money :) ).

This is such an incredibly easy system to set up that thousands upon thousands of internet marketers have done just that!

And this is one reason that Google have changed their policy.

You see Google wants to display relevant results for the people that use their network to search for something online. And when five or six of the Adwords ads that come up all point to the same web site, the web surfer can get confused.

So the new Adwords policy is that only one listing of each unique URL will be displayed on the search results pages.

Have you seen the little boxes on the right hand side of your webpage when you do a search on Google?

They look like this:


These are an example of highly targeted Pay-Per-Click (PPC) advertising.

The way it works is when someone searches for something on Google the search results page that come back may have these ad's also.

And if the wording in the ad box catches the searchers attention, they could click on the ad for more information.

Now if that were your ad box, you would....

Blog and Ping?

Blog and Ping for Fun and Tons of Traffic!



Here is what I have done so far today:

1. Created my blog at http://www.Blogger.com

2. Blogged a couple of messages! See below

3. Created an account at http://www.FeedBurner.com (it's free!)

4. Used FeedBurner to translate my Atom.XML feed to other standards. (SmartFeed)

5. Went to http://www.Ping-O-Matic.com and set up a ping back to this blog and a ping to a whole bunch of blog services including FeedBurner. (also free!)

6. Bookmarked my generated Ping-O-Matic URL so I can just go to Favorites and ping everything anytime I want.

7. In fact, I'll ping again after this post, just for fun!

8. Tomorrow I'll blog a recent Google Adwords tips!
