I Don't Get It With These Pixel Sites?
Yep two posts today!
I saw on that Hot Publicity Program
It's great of Seung Chul, Yoo the 25-year-old Korean entrepreneur who is building the site, to offer such a large sum to worldwide charities, but I just don't get this pixel fad...
I mean do any of the original marketing concepts apply here?
Is it location, location, location?
Granted based on the press release there will be lots of visitors and word of mouth and other traffic methods will likely bring people to the site as well, but have you seen Million Dollar Home Page recently? It's a complete mess. See how long it takes you to find "stickernation".
I'll admit that these sites are hot right now, but I prefer to stick with proven long-term traffic strategies like:
Jason Mangrum's Instant Traffic Formula for 2006
and of course the ultimate internet traffic training course:
John Reese's Phenomenal "Traffic Secrets".
HTH and have a great day!
Mark
P.S. Speaking of John Reese, I just got my subscription to The Reese Report. I'm on pins and needles waiting for that first issue to arrive. :) Make sure you claim your free copy of the April 2005 issue because even though it's almost a year old, there are some great tips that you probably don't know yet. See my review here: Reese Report Review.
P.P.S. I bet "stickernation" gets more clicks from this post then they do from MillionDollarHomePage.com.
